Hi
I have many product sub/categories for selling vinyl.It seems as though when I update the “tax:product_cat” field sometimes duplicate categories get created INSTEAD of just adding to an existing category.
I believe the issue is in that the parent categories are named differently but the product subcategories are NAMED the same – but their SLUGS are different. But in the import/export form the column asks for us to use the names – not slugs. Any suggestions for how this wont happen??

If I import the following it will create the new subcategories instead of adding to the existing.

Categories are created by the name and it’s not possible to support@xadapter.com . So we can check. -
I sent the email. Please check and follow up with me – I really like the plugin – but if I cannot get this component to delete 1000’s of extra subcategories after I upload 🙁

Hello Ashley,
We have tested an import with same category for two products from your shared CSV. Both are connected doesn’t creating it multiple times. Please see the attached screenshots.
