    Hi,

    We understand that holidays are designated as days for the shop owner to not include in ship dates. However, we need to configure the plugin so that Saturdays and Sundays are not included as days to have products delivered, as our shipping service does not deliver on Saturdays or Sundays. The plugin should skip to the next weekday if the estimated delivery date is a Saturday or Sunday. How do we accomplish this with the plugin settings? Thank you.

    Hi Mitch,

    We have an option in the plugin “Calculation Based On”. Just make “Next Working Day”. This should resolve your problem.

    Yes we’ve used that option, but it still returns some Saturdays and Sundays as estimated delivery days. We can not show the customer delivery days on Saturday and Sunday as our mail carrier does not deliver on those days. For example, even with working days set as Monday-Friday, and choosing “Next Working Day” the customer receives Saturday or Sunday as delivery days in some cases. If you feel that this option should still resolve the issue, can you please explain exactly what to change the settings to?

    It seems that holidays and next working day allow some days to be skip for shipping time, but still shows Saturday and Sunday as delivery days when the number of estimated days falls on a Saturday or Sunday. Please help!

    Hi, I thought it might be helpful to add an even more specific example to explain the issue. If we have working days set as Monday-Friday and use calculation based on “Next Working Day”: 1.) Order has next day chosen as delivery time, which is 1 working day. 2.) Order is placed on Thursday Oct 26th, 2017 before cutoff time. 3) Delivery day will be shown as Saturday or Sunday Oct 28th, 2017 or Oct 29th 2017. 4) Customer is disappointed because our mail service does not offer delivery on Saturdays/Sundays. 5) The plugin should display Monday as the delivery day since Saturday/Sunday delivery is not possible for us. Does this help to understand the issue?

    Hi Mitch,

    We have decided to develop a mechanism to fix this.
    We will provide the option of “No Shipping and No Delivery” in the plugin.
    This dev will take into effect by end of this week.

    Ok thank you, received. For installation do we need to delete/remove the existing plugin losing all current settings and start over? Or just unzip and upload file to the existing folder via ftp allows us to keep the existing shipping options?

    Hi Mitch,

    Yes, you can delete the existing plugin and then install the version. No worries. Your settings will still be intact.

    Ok thanks, I’ve deleted the old plugin and re-installed. Also chose the ‘Consider holiday for Shipper and Recipient’ option. However now when I click the calculate shipping button or the proceed to checkout button, I just see the spinning circle with no delivery date display. Any idea what might be wrong?

    I also cleared all cached images and files in browser.
