AAA Authentication Failure

    Hello,
    I cant get any shipping rates in the Premium version.
    In debug mode I get the following errors:
    -AAA Authentication Failure
    -Invalid request. Ensure a valid shipping destination has been chosen on the cart/checkout page

    I’m sure my CanadaPost username and shipping address are both valid
    However I don’t have a CanadaPost contract#

    Any ideas??

    Hi Victor,

    Please make sure you have selected the account type as non contract in the plugin settings if you’re a non-contract user. And if the issue still persist please raise a request at xadapter support.

    Victor, did you ever get a Solution? Our system is currently having the same issue yet if I use the same UN and PW and Account number on the Canada Post site everything is fine.

      Lorenzo your solution worked.
      For those of you getting an authentication error, AAA Authentication failure from Canada post when in Debug Mode and trying to get shipping rates in your Cart or Checkout- Not only do you need to Open an account with Canada Post but you need to join the Developer API group as well. It will be the Developers that issue you a development and production username and passwords. In the Xadapter C>P> plugin setup, API section Merchants Username and Password – the series of letters and numbers you get from the Developers Area of Canada Post is what the Plugin needs – not your Canada Post account info other than it needs account Number.

    What do i use for the merchant user name and password? is it development or production?

    where Do I find Customer number API?

    For Test mode(Development mode),
    Merchant Username : e869c771edf06088
    Password : 9b3e116990b6e0e9d8f8be

    For Live mode
    Merchant Username : 7c7a570497b06242
    Password : 8bdf29e31d9df7dfc62fbf

    If you have understood it now, kindly delete this and confirm so that I can also delete it as this is a public forum.
    Also, the customer number can be found out if you click on your “profile” in your canada post account.

    Kindly ensure you are using Development keys for Test mode and Production Keys for Live mode.
    If you still face the issue, kindly share your Credential details. We will check and help you.
