Our Estimated Delivery Date Plugin for WooCommerce is the simplest solution in the market for providing an estimated number of days it is going to take for the product to arrive. Before making a purchase online, a buyer will always look out for a tentative date of arrival of his order. It is one of the major factors in the purchase decision. As a store owner you do not want to loose a customer only because you do not have this information shown on your website. Our Estimated Delivery Date plugin will provide you exactly this.

This Plugin works seamlessly on the Product page, Cart page and the Checkout page. The most outstanding feature of this plugin is the range of rules that can be used in conjunction with each other to generate product delivery date estimates. You can also very easily select from a list of date formats such that it becomes easy for customers. There is also a host of customizations available in the plugin like an option to set Minimum Delivery Days, changing the product page text, marking all working days, etc.

If you wish to skip some days or exclude holidays in the estimated delivery period calculation, you can specify the date range for the same. This date range will be not be considered for the calculation of estimated delivery date.

Shipping zones:

Based on your customer’s shipping address, the estimated delivery date might differ. Some shipments might need more time to reach, while some lesser than expected. Hence, the plugin provides handy option to help you configure the estimated number of delivery days based on Shipping zones.
You can provide an estimated delivery date for each Shipping Zone. This estimated number of days is calculated with parameters configured in the general settings.

Shipping classes:

You can now define estimated number of delivery days for each Shipping class!
The specified days is calculated with parameters, like working days, minimum delivery days among other things configured in the general settings of the plugin.

Shipping method:

Similar to Shipping class and Shipping zone, you can define estimated delivery days for Shipping method as well.
In addition to default shipping methods of WooCommerce, you can define estimation days for shipping methods of premium shipping extensions like FedEx, DHL, UPS, USPS and so on.
Shipping services have variable delivery dates. But with our plugin, you can define custom delivery dates for each service. You just need to define ID of respective shipping method and number of delivery days.

Main Features

Easy Integration:

No need to worry where the estimated delivery date information might appear, as this information is easily available in product page, cart page, checkout page and customer order page as well.

Define Holidays:

If you want to take general holidays into account or want to include custom holidays, you can define a date or date range during which the delivery will not be possible. This period will be skipped from the calculation of estimated delivery date.

Assign delivery dates based on:
  • Shipping Class: Fragility, weight, dimension or other factors that are classified using shipping classes might need different time to ship and deliver. The plugin provides convenient option to assign the number of delivery days based on shipping class.
  • Shipping Zones: Like shipping classes, different geographical location might also need different time to ship and deliver. Say, If your business is based in New York, United States, it would take less time to deliver to Canada when compared to China. Hence, the plugin allows you to assign custom delivery days for each shipping zone.
  • Shipping Method: In addition to WooCommerce default shipping methods (Flat rate, Free shipping & Local pickup), you can also assign custom delivery days for shipping services of FedEx, DHL, UPS, USPS and so on.
Say, you have some FedEx Priority service and wish to apply custom delivery dates to this, the plugin provides an effortless approach to achieve this.
Time Limit for accepting order:

You can set a custom time limit after which the delivery is estimated to next working day. This feature will be helpful in adjusting delivery time with your store timings.

Multiple date format option:

Choose your desired date format from a list of options provided.

Custom text display:

You can define any desired text for the display. You can set simple text or define date range (with lower and higher range value) for estimated delivery.
For example, if the date lower range is 3 and delivery date is 08/03/2017, the start range for the delivery will be 08/01/2017 in the specified date format.

Choose Time Zone:

Choose the timezone you would like to follow. You can select either UTC or WP Time Zone. The estimated delivery date will be based on the selected time zone.

Show delivery estimates on Shop page for every product:

With this feature you can get the delivery estimates for each and every product in shop page. Just below the “Add to Cart” button you can choose to display this.

Business Case

A shop owner requires deliveries to be set based on shipping class and shipping zones. So he frames these rules in the plugin as shown:

  • 2 days for shipping class “Clothes”.
  • 3 days for shipping zone “Europe”.

So, a purchase of clothes made from Europe will be shown an estimated delivery of 2 + 3 = 5 days.
The plugin makes deliveries so simple!

At first, I found XAdapter plugins to be a bit costly… But you know what? Their plugins are amazing and their support team very reactive and top notch!

Their Estimated Delivery plugin is the best plugin of its class, the only one I found doing exactly what I wanted and adding a custom date range for deliveries. Better than Tyche plugins for instance.

Support is one of the most important parts when it comes to WordPress development.

And I must say they are one of the best of the business now!

Thank you XAdapter for allowing to have such an incredible site now.

Does this plugin work with the FedEx plugin?

I can’t get the changes I make in the Est. Delivery Date Plugin to override the FedEx Est. Delivery Dates.

    • Anindo

      Hi Sean,

The delivery estimates from Delivery estimated plugin does not override the FedEx delivery estimates. They are separate plugins having separate functionality. However, you can switch off the delivery estimates from FedEx. Just go to Plugin settings page and disable “Show Delivery Time” in the settings page.

Very responsive and capable tech support, they readily expanded the plugin capabilities to meet our specific needs. Very excited to have this plugin installed now to allow customers to see the delivery date, rather than messaging us to ask if it our product will deliver in time. I’m anticipating a higher conversion rate as a result!

Hi, I'm trying to set the plugin up, have set the Shipping Times and also set the estimated delivery speed for each of the classes but the estimated delivery date at checkout is always today's date unless I change the "Minimum Delivery Days" Any ideas? Thanks.

Is it possible for the customer to choose the country (shipping zone) and then the plugin will automatically compute for estimated delivery date?

  • Anindo

    Anindo - 2 weeks ago

Hi Krista, Thanks for reaching out to us. Yes, you can easily configure the estimated delivery based on "Shipping zones" with our plugin. You will just need to select the shipping zone you have configured in WooCommerce shipping zones and then provide the "estimated delivery" as per you need. Hope that helps! Let us know if you have any query. Regards,

i downloaded the free version and it seems you have Estimated Delivery Date per product for now if i have more than one items from defrant shipping class it only display one Estimated Delivery Date on cart and on check out as well ?? also can i have check to disable/ enable the Estimated Delivery Date from product page?

  • Anindo

    Anindo - 1 month ago

Hi, Yes, ideally if the order is placed from a single vendor, then only nose estimated delivery date will be displayed in the cart/checkout page. In that case, the largest date will be displayed. Regarding your other query, we do not have a mechanism to switch off the display of estimated delivery date at the product page as of now. However, our team is flexible and willing to make changes. You can raise a ticket to talk more about this.

OK two questions before i buy: 1- i have different shipping class and i do know how to set delivery date per every shipping class but i want it to display the delivery date under each product in cart and in check out !! instead of showing the max shipping class delivery date only ?? 2- can i compromise and connect one of my shipping class delivery date with a participator shipping zone delivery date for example : having one product with shipping class "A" and associated with 3 days delivery date, now can i go to shipping zone delivery date and add this " for shipping class "A" zone= "new york" delivery days= 3 " so total delivery date will be = 6 days for product from shipping class "A" which want to ship to new york city while the rest of product from other shipping class "B" will not get affected by shipping zone new york city !!

  • Anindo

    Anindo - 1 month ago

Hi, Thanks for the reply. As of now, we do not have mechanism to display the delivery date under each product in cart and in check out. However, we have prioritised this next month. Our team will develop it end of April. Regarding the second option, you can we already have this feature. So if you define a shipping class with deliverty date of 3 days and for a shipping zone with 3 days. Then the total delivery days will be 6. Other products which do not go into that zone, will not show this.

i see so how i can connect the shipping zone delivery date with specific shipping class only as i cant see any tutorial for doing so.

  • Anindo

    Anindo - 1 month ago

Hi, You do not need to connect. Just put the value for Shipping zone and shipping class and then put in the product in cart. If that is not working for you, you can approach us for the answer.
