Now, let’s see how we can import an XML file using Order/Coupon/Subscription Export Import Plugin for Woocommerce.

Import Orders in XML Format

The plugin takes WooCommerce Order XML file as input which is exported from this plugin. It updates all details of the orders by importing XML file. So, to the website you should have an XML file prepared beforehand.

A screenshot of a sample XML file is shown below.

Note: If Order ID exists in your online store, you can update or skip that particular order. otherwise, a new order gets created by importing Order XML.

Now, go to the Order XML tab.

The Import Screen appears as shown below:

From the Import Orders in XML Format section, click Update Orders, the window appears as shown below:

Select XML type as WooCommerce. During importing WooCommerce Order XML to skip the existing order from updating or overwrite the existing order.

You can import the Order XML file by the following two methods:

Method 1: Select a file from your computer. Click Choose File to browse a required XML file from your computer. Click Upload file and Import.

Method 2: Provide FTP Details. If your XML file is on the server, then do FTP settings as given below:

Select the checkbox to enable FTP import/export.
Enter FTP Server Host/IP.
Enter FTP User Name.
Enter FTP Password.
Enter the FTP Port number.
Enter FTP Server Path.
Select the checkbox to use FTPS.
Select the checkbox to enable passive mode.
Click Upload file and Import.

After a successful import, the import window appears as shown below:
