Can I Use WooCommerce flat rate/free shipping for rates and pay postage using shiping plugin?

Yes. You can use the WooCommerce default flat rate shipping or free shipping method and at the same time pay for the postage using WooForce shipping plugin. In this article, I’ll explain how to achieve this in the case of Stamps.com plugin. But this is applicable for all other shipping plugins by WooForce.

This can be simply done by disabling the ‘Stamps.com shipping method on your WooCommerce store as shown below:

Enable the plugin

Enable the plugin

This will restrict showing the stamps.com real-time shipping rates on your cart or checkout page. Now if you enable Flat Rate or Free Shipping it will show on cart or checkout page.

But you can still pay for your postage using the WooForce stamps.com plugin .For that, you need to click on the ‘create shipment’ button that will appear on the order page of your WooCommerce store as shown below.

Create Shipment

Create Shipment

Now you can print the label for this shipment.

That you very much for the above helpful suggestion.
We are looking into your FedEx plugin https://www.xadapter.com/product/woocommerce-fedex-shipping-plugin-with-print-label/.
We would like to offer Free Shipping accross the board on our site but at the same time you generate shipments through FedEx and so this seems to be a good option for us.

I would like to clarify whether the customer will be able to see tracking for this shipment without seeing the price that it costed?
Secondly, will the customer be able to print a return label from within their account page?

    Thank you

      Hi Leah,

Using the plugin, the customer would be able to print a return label fro within their account page.
Also, regarding your other question, the tracking number will be sent along with the order completion email. Can you clarify your query on what the customer should not be able to see?
